Aberthin, outside Cowbridge
Aberthin is a small village just beyond Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, set on a shallow valley's north side less than a mile north-east of the town, on the far side of the A48. The village shares its name with a brook, the River Aberthin. Cowbridge Comprehensive School is just to the south-west of the village.
Between 1905 and 1920 Aberthin had its own railway stop, Aberthin Platform, and that site is now a field.
