Drope is a hamlet in the valley of the River Ely, in the Vale of Glamorgan, just outside Cardiff's western boundary. It lies immediately east of Michaelston-super-Ely and to the west of Ely, and is reached by a bridge on Drope Road over the A4232, north of Culverhouse Cross.
