Llancarfan, a Vale of Glamorgan village

Llancarfan, a rural village in the Vale of Glamorgan, is also a community in its own right, west of Barry and not far from Cowbridge, and it takes in the village of Moulton. Its parish church stands on the site of Saint Cadoc's clas, a 6th-century centre known for learning, and the antiquarian Iolo Morganwg was born in Pen-onn, a hamlet close by.

Most of Llancarfan has been a conservation area since 1971. The Fox and Hounds, The Six Bells Inn, St Cadoc's Church and Llancarfan C.P. School are among the places a local will know, and the streets we cover include School Lane, Kenson Hill, Llancadle Road and Broadhayes.
